Maya Tskitishvili to deliver speech at the Council of Europe

Vice Premier of Georgia, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maya Tskitishvili has left for Strasburg within the working visit. Vice Premier of Georgia will participate in the next Session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, to take place on November 7th. The session will listen to the Report on local and regional development of Georgia for 2018, developed by Monitoring Mission of the Congress. 
On that day Maya Tskitishvili will hold the meeting with the newly elected President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe Andres Knape and Secretary General Andreas Kiefer.
The purpose of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe is to support democracy on local and regional levels, improve local governments and to strengthen the self-governments.
